TAKE OUT THE TRASH

This unique piece reimagines Elisabetta Sirani's artwork, "Timoclea Kills the Captain of Alexander the Great," with a contemporary twist. Our in-house designers have skillfully remastered the original, embellishing it with striking neon lettering that reads "Take out the trash." 
 
If you don’t know the story of Timoclea, go away and google it. In 335 BC in Thebes, Timoclea take her revenge on the Captain who assaulted her. Yet, here we are, more than 2000 years later and women still aren’t safe… go figure. It’s almost like the world is ruled by men?
